BIBA Research has established a panel of clinicians throughout their journals and their conference network. Clinicians use data on a number of occasions, from presentations to lectures.
BIBA Research has been collecting, analysing and releasing data to clinicians since 2002. This data reflects changes taking place in the clinical practice as new techniques and devices become available.
The data is released to clinicians in a panel report format which covers: Vascular and Endovascular procedures, Interventional Cardiology, Heart Valve Surgery, Transcatheter Heart Valve Implantation, Cardiac Rhythm, and Ventricular Assist Device procedures.
This data is unique because:
- It offers a global view broken down by specific geographies which allows comparative analysis;
- Unlike the registry sources (which are retrospective and offer a limited view) this data is prospective and represents the Total. This offers a better understanding of the macro-level changes we are living in.
- It is released four times a year – this means changes are captured as soon as they happen.
- It is independent as it doesn’t make use of Industry sources but of hospital personnel’s figures only.
