1) Questionnaires at congresses and other meetings
BIBA Medical provides a complete conference survey programme. Conferences provide a unique opportunity to target qualified respondents and provide useful research results in a short period of time. Our research provides useful research results in a short period of time. Our research provides direct physician feedback regarding clinician practices; current usage of your products and of those of your competitors and the adoption of new technology. IT can also evaluate obstacles to clinician adoption such as reimbursement.

During the event the normal (and generally the most effective) methodology is for our team of expert interviewers to target suitable clinicians during breaks in the conference. They then go through a scanable paper survey. These provide a standarised, professional look and are paper-based so respondents don’t require a computer or technical know-how to reply. Nevertheless we can use other techniques such as audience response technology and self-administered surveys.

Post assessments can be sent out at set times following the event. This can be done immediately after the event or any time after. This gives attendees time to implement information they received during the show or conference, which often results in more accurate survey results.

Whenever you choose to implement surveys, we will always work with you on the type of survey you want. If you have specific needs, we can create a survey just for you or use one of your existing surveys.

2) Telephone research
We have a team of multi lingual telephone researchers experienced in getting information from hard to talk to professionals in the cardiovascular and vascular area. Because of their experience and knowledge we have been able to carry out studies in difficult to research areas such as Atrial Fibrillation and the lower thoracic aorta.

3) Internet Research
We use web-based surveys (in multiple Languages), e-mail surveys, internet panel research and online focus groups to collect data in an effective and efficient manner. We have also developed in-line focus groups. Many of the online focus group participants are members of our EVEM and ECVM panels

4) Focus groups
We have experience in conducting focus groups across Europe and can deal with such issues like simultaneous translation and conducting several groups across Europe in a short period of time.
