Vascular News has started a panel through our readership of more than 16,000 vascular specialists. So far, more than 250 centres have signed up and given very simple single sheet details of procedure numbers every quarter. We collate the data and feed it back to participating centres in the form of a panel report. This approach yields valuable "denominator data" of total numbers of procedures and how clinical practice changes over time. All panel members are free to refer to these data in publications if they enrol.
